The Ultimate high end big rider board at a great price! The Empire Maxx has everything you need in a high performance board and it's designed specifically for the larger rider. This is one of the most durable boards on the market featuring not only 2x stringers but a thickened core to support its pilot. The template is designed with a bat tail to maximize speed off those bottom turns. It also features graduated channels paired with Surlyn Slick to reach maximal speed while you're driving down the line. Don't get bogged on a board too small for you, pick up an Empire Maxx and start ripping in no time.

  • 1.9 lb PP Ultra Kinetic Core™ (K19) delivers amazing projection and response as a result of high pressure cell-fusion created during the blank manufacturing process. 
  • 3/2 = 5 Channel System-  3 Extra Deep Concave channels to optimize speed and control & 2 interior concave channels for maximum responsiveness and engagement on the wave face.      Empire has worked tirelessly over the last few years to develop a functional channel system to perform in all conditions. Concaves One, Three, and Five all have increased depth, width, and length to serve as hulls to produce more hydrodynamic lift which results in maximum speed and drive. The two inner concaves are designed to optimize stabilization and engagement on the wave face to produce maximum hydrodynamic flow resulting in the most proficient channel system ever created by Empire.This unique channel system permits for a quick and responsive feel for line adjustments while trimming and driving down the line. This board is designed with two things in mind: Speed + Control.
  • HDPE Slick
  • 8lb PE sealed air deck
  • Bat Tail -    The protruding bulb increases the boards planning surface at the tail area for down the line speed with wings that lock the tail in throughout the turn. It is also machine rounded for rider comfort. 
  • 2x CFT Stringers -    High-grade filament wound composite-fibre tube for increased board strength and spring-like recoil.

Buzz-Tech process hot air lamination system thermo-fuses the outer skins to the core with calibrated pre and post-set rocker tension for optimum board recoil and projection. CAD designed templates precision cut with CNC shaping machines allow for superior accuracy and consistency. Skilled craftsmen sand, trim, rail and roll each and every board for a high quality finish.

Care Instructions

*Like sunburnt skin, foam boards blister and bubble when left exposed and unprotected in the sun. Keep your board covered in a cool shady place when not being ridden and avoid a "baking" car on any hot, sunny day.

*Rinse your board off with cool, fresh water after every use to avoid salt water corrosion.

*Don't skim or sand slide on your board unless it's a skim board.

*(If applies) Plug your board in the recommended location. We mark with a sticker where our stringers are while in the packaging so be sure to plug it about an inch from that. We are happy to pre-plug your new board, just ask us to!
